Marketing and Advertising
Students are then presented with the task which they spend the majority of their time working on. In order to complete the task, the students must use all of the terms and models which they have learned as well as their creativity. In doing so, they will conclude the task by giving a presentation in which they sell a business concept or product which they have come up with themselves. The success in selling their concept or product depends on their ability to use the terminology and models which they have learned.
The students must give their presentation in English which means that they must practice beforehand in order to improve their fluency and pronunciation.
Pedagogical considerations
During this project, students will be introduced to models and terminology related to marketing and advertising which students at HHX work with in subjects such as English and Afsætning. This allows students a foundation for considering an enrollment at HHX. The task-based way of learning is a common one at Aalborg Business College, which means that this project serves as a way of introducing not only what is learned at HHX, but also how it is taught.
